1. FLAT IRON Your flat iron should glide effortlessly through the hair. It should have a temperature control that goes up to at least 400°. Anything Less can cause you to make several passes through the hair causing breakage and unnecessary damage. Use it at a lower heat setting if you have fragile.
2. BLOWDRYER Your Dryer needs to be hot enough to dry the hair quickly and effectively. If the coils inside the dryer don’t get hot enough, you’ll spend extra time heating up your hair causing more damage and frizz (similar to the flat iron). A tourmaline blow dryer has been found to dry up to 40 percent more quickly than a drugstore dryer. This, In Turn, helps to close the cuticle layers in your hair, also creating a smoother finish.
