Taking photos by the Vogue Photo booth on the Red Carpet, With Absolut Juice as the signature cocktail, spectators found their seats along the Catwalk. Sponsors like the Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery | Dreams MedSpa, spectators were treated this year in VIP style, receiving valet parking and complimentary bento boxes provided by Save the Date Catering. The Omaha Fashion Week Beauty Alliance style models for the runway with various Aquage styling products and tools. With the show beginning with a youthful and playful wear collection by Elle Glo Apparel, luxe streetwear collection was created to provide “stay at home style” remaining comfortable and soft incorporated with utility-style pieces like vests, harnesses, and face masks full showing colors gracing the fall season with earth tones like pumpkin orange and fluorescent light blue and olive greens, finishing with a streamline finish. Carsen Monaco presented the second collection with a collection of luxurious evening wear with capes in rich colors of blacks, whites, lavender and golds featuring soft lace materials showing different silhouettes. Designer Lacuna Grove also debuted a collection of gender-queer wedding wear with transparent pieces, adding florescent clean colors of purples, whites, and creams while offering an ethereal vibe.
The fourth collection featured two emerging designers by Metropolitan Community College showcased Charmaine Miranda collection, which focused on dark earthy/fall tones like forest green, and matte gold with unexpected details of two tone designs with knitwear trending with sunhats. liv presented sophisticated designs, playing with asymmetrical lines, unique shapes and movements of soft desert colors of warm browns, pinks, and off white were shown on the catwalk.
Anai V. inspired by the Flamenco style of dancing, showing grace and flow with ruffles and presented a bold, colorful collection of light creams, reds, blacks, with flattering silhouettes that wowed the audience. Nokota.Style‘s collection of fringe and flow that took the catwalk showing the forever in trend style of denim. Roger Figueroa captivating collection of bold masks, captivating silhouettes flattering to the body and powerful juxtapose color blocks.
Rachel Pollak Designs, the womenswear collection of elegant designs down the catwalk exuding bright decadent colors with a pop of neon. Brand design Duane Topping brought a whimsical couture inspired collection of garments expressing unique peek-a-boo silhouettes, patterns, colors. RoninScar by Alex Scarpello inspired by the concept of nuclear disaster, invoking a sense of gradual decay which can be seen within the theme of his collection with colors like Smokey to metallic grays and rustic green to soot black.
